VMP Covergirl - Cris Hall

This week’s VMP Covergirl is……Cris Hall!🎉

Cris is all about living boldly and embracing life’s next chapter with grit and grace.

At 50+, she’s found freedom to pursue what lights her up—like building her hobby farm, riding her beloved horses, and dreaming big (hello, heritage turkeys and a baby mule!).

She’s proof that life after 50 is the perfect time to go after your passions, ditch what doesn’t serve you, and create a life that feels authentic and joyful. Cris reminds us to live boldly, think big, and celebrate every milestone. 🌟

Want more of Cris’s inspiring story? Here’s what she had to say about this time in your life…

💎 Did you have any older female role models when you were younger? Who were they and what impact did they have on you? Did they give you any advice that really helped you?

Yes, I would say that both of my grandmothers and my mother had a lasting impact on me.  They were all such great mothers to all of their children which I believe influenced me to become a great mother to my two daughters.

💎 How did you mark turning 50? How did that feel to you?

My 50th birthday was wonderful as I was able to spend it with my friends and family and especially my mother who passed not long after my 50th birthday.

💎 What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to spend more time with your grandparents as you don't have a lot of time with them.  In addition, I would have told myself to be bold and don't be afraid to think big.

💎 Do you feel like you've changed since you've turned 50?

I think I may have changed after 50 in the sense that I really don't care what other folks think.  I truly believe that you have to be comfortable in your own skin and I believe that the happiest women are the prettiest women.

💎 What positives have come from being over 50?

There are many positives that come from being over 50. When I turned 50, my daughters were grown and I had more time to pursue my own hobbies like riding my horse/mule/donkeys and building up my hobby farm.  In addition, at this point in your life you are more financially able to do things that you may not have had the chance to do in your youth.

💎 Do you have any goals or projects you're working on? What dreams do you have for the future?

I am currently working on building up my hobby farm and would like to raise organically grown heritage turkeys in the future.  In addition, I would like to breed my mare Nova to get my own baby mule soon.

💎 What is your best advice for other women who are coming up on turning 50? What do you 'know' now?

Look forward to turning the big 50 and embrace it because there is a lot of freedom in your 50's.

💎 What do you most want people to remember about you?

I would like for folks to see me as very genuine and authentic and never fake.  I would want folks to look back on when they met me and ultimately remember that I was kind and that I was always encouraging others and lifting them up.

💎 Why are beautiful photos important to you right now?

I think that beautiful photos are important to me now because sometimes I forget that it's okay to celebrate yourself and your happiness.  In addition, I'd love for my daughters to have some really nice pictures of their mother.

Congratulations Cris! 🎉
